Mohammed Siraj got the perfect revenge after being beaten to back-to-back bounds by West Indies opener Shai Hope in the first ODI at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. The right-arm closer, who bowled a maiden in the first over of the match, was given two offside fours by Hope on the second and third bowls of his next over, but Siraj, instead of being demoralized, got the The ball came back from outside the stump on the next throw and induced an error by Hope. After Siraj’s early wicket, Indian spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Washington Sundar, who is returning to the XI, placed a double wicket over each to leave the West Indies reeling.
