ICC: The ICC World Test Championship began on 1 August 2019. The top 9 teams are participating in the Test Championship and one team will play against 6 of the remaining eight teams.

Each team will have to play 6 Test series in two years. Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, and Ireland have Test status from the ICC, but these teams are not part of the Test Championship.

All the teams will have to play three of the 6 series at home and three outside. The final match will be played at Lord’s in June between the top 2 teams topping the top in 2021.

So far Australia and England have played the most number of 5-5 matches, India 3, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, and West Indies have played two matches each.

Apart from this, Pakistan and Bangladesh have not started their campaign yet, so India has not played a single match so far.

2- New Zealand- (2 matches- 1 win- 1 defeat- 60 points)

3- Sri Lanka- (2 matches- 1 win- 1 defeat- 60 points)

4- Australia- (5 matches- 2 wins- 2 defeats- 1 draw- 56 points)

5- England- (5 matches- 2 wins- 2 defeats- 1 draw- 56 points)

6- South Africa- (1 match- 1 defeat- 0 points)

7- West Indies- (2 matches- 2 defeats – 0 points)

8- Bangladesh – No match played

9-Pakistan – No match played
