WWE News: Former WWE Champion Challenges The Rock for WrestleMania 36. As you all know that WWE SmackDown will now be shown on Fox Sports instead of USA Network. This week marks the first premiere show of SmackDown.
This is in a way the beginning of a new era for SmackDown and many legends will join the show to make it memorable. One of these names is The Rock, who through a tweet had reported to be present on the show.
Many superstars and WWE fans are waiting for the ‘People’s Champion’ to come to SmackDown. One of them is Supraster named Randy Orton. Randy tweeted The Rock to challenge WrestleMania 36 in Tampa in April 2020.
Perhaps Rock and Orton may be opposite each other in the ring on this premiere show as well. Randy, the 13-time WWE Champion, said he decides who is the greatest superstar of the third generation.
The Rock’s father Rocky Johnson was also a well-known wrestler. Randy Orton‘s grandfather Bob Orton Sr. and father Bob Orton were also Wrestlers. The Rock fought their last WrestleMania match against Eric Rowan.
In this match, Rock made a record by defeating Rowan in just 6 seconds. The Wyatt Family was about to attack Rock after this match when John Cena came there to help him.
Now Rock has become very busy in Hollywood and is not able to make much time to come to WWE. Randy is available for WrestleMania but it remains to be seen if The Rock will be able to get some time off to fight a match at WrestleMania. If this happens, the WWE Universe will get to see a dream match.
.@TheRock I see you will be at #SmackdownOnFox this Friday. How about you & I have a discussion about who’s the greatest 3rd generation of all time and we answer that question April 5th in Tampa At Wrestlemania 36. A vipers sense of smell is unmatched. I smell what you’re cooking
