IPL Auction: 70 players will be bought at the auction on December 18, 1003, registered registrations. The auction will be held in Jaipur on December 18 for the 12th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Before the edition of the popular T20 Cricket League, which will be held in 2019, the players’ auction will be held in Jaipur on December 18. A total of 1003 players have registered for this auction. They include 232 foreign players. The eight IPL franchises will choose 70 out of 1003 players.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced this on Wednesday (December 5). The auction will be for one day for the 12th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Of the 1003 players who have registered, 800 have not yet played a single international match. Of these 800 players, 746 belong to India.
Most Foreign Cricketer of South Africa
Most of the foreign players who make the registration are from South Africa. 59 players from this country have registered. Apart from this, Australia has 35, West Indies 33, Sri Lanka 28, Afghanistan 27, New Zealand 17, 14 England and 10 from Bangladesh. Each player in the US, Hong Kong, and Ireland is included in this list.
The final list will be ready by December 10
The auction will be sorted in this list. All franchises have been given time to submit the list of players of their choice till December 10. After this, the final list for the auction will be prepared.
Richard Medley will not be in the auction this time
Richard Medley, who regularly runs the IPL auction, will not be a part of the auction this time. This time, the responsibility of the operation of the auction has been entrusted to Hugh Adidas.
Adidas has more than 30 years of experience in the auction company Christie. They will replace Medal, whose information has not been given any information about the absence of BCCI in the release of the BCCI.
71 players released
Under the transfer window this year in IPL, eight teams have released many of their players out of the team. Delhi Daredevils has outclassed 13 players. Whereas, champion Chennai Superkings has released three players, which is less than all other teams. Talking about all the teams, a total of 71 players have been released, i.e. they are no longer members of any team and can join the next auction.
