Xiaomi Mi Band 3 has been launched in China. Mi 8 smartphone was also launched during this event. Talk about the new Mi Band model, it is an upgraded version of Mi Band 2. There is a touchscreen panel and it is also a water resistant to 5 ATMs. The company claims that it can be operated for up to 20 days after a single charge. Customers will be available in these three color options.
The company has kept the price of Mi Band 3 CNY 169 (about Rs 1,800). It also has an NFC version which will be made available in CNY 199 (about 2,100 bucks) around September. At present, no information has been provided in respect of its price and availability in the international market.
Like last year’s Mi Band 2, Mi Band 3 also shows app and call notifications and has motion management as well as a Health Management feature. The company claims that this Mi Band has water resistant capacity up to 50 meters. However, the company has not provided any IP rating information in addition to 5 ATM ratings.
Mi Band 3 can be run with Android 4.4 or higher or devices running iOS 9.0 or greater. This band has a caller ID / Reject feature, along with a reminder that prevents the user from sitting for long periods of time.
Mi Band 3 has a 0.78-inch OLED display. In this display, you will see incoming calls, text message alerts, current time, steps, and heart rate count. Its battery is 110mAh which is more than 70mAh of Mi Band 2. Bluetooth 4.2 LE is supported in this.
