The popular messaging app, WhatsApp, has started rolling out the new beta update for its Android users. In its update version V2.18.159, users will get two new features. There is a media vulnerability and the other is a new contact shortcut. Recently, Whatsapp has brought many more new features.
From the Media Viability feature, users will be able to set the viability of their shared media. For this, users must first go to Whatsapp settings. After that in the Data and Storage Uses where they will get a new option media viability.
If users enable the option, then they will be able to view all the downloaded media in the gallery outside the Whatsapp app. At the same time, if they disable the option, then all the downloaded media will be hidden. Users will be able to watch the media within the app, not in the gallery.
With this update will add another feature of the contact shortcuts. By clicking on this shortcut, users will be able to add new contacts more quickly. These features are just in the beta mode of Android, not available to everyone.
Let me know that just recently a new bug has been found in the Whatsapp. Because of this, users are able to send a message to the blocked account on the app too. This means that the accounts you have blocked on the Whatsapp app can also view your status and send you a message. Users can do one thing to ignore the messages of blocked contacts. For this, first, unblock any block contact and block them again.
