Nottingham Forest are willing to listen to offers for Emmanuel Dennis despite only signing him last summer for £15m from Watford.
The 25-year-old has failed to make an impact and Forest need to streamline their squad to strengthen again this window.
Sam Surridge is another who could find himself heading for the exit door as Forest look to make room for more signings, with boss Steve Cooper eager to add to his squad in January.

Nigerian international Dennis proved a major disappointment when he arrived as part of a major overhaul at the City Ground in the summer.
Dennis made just three starts in the Premier League and scored one goal.
Starting the season at Watford, playing a few games in the Championship for them before moving to Forest, the move to Dennis becomes more complicated.
The options open to Dennis – and Forest – are for him to move to a club abroad, or if he wants to stay in England he is only eligible to return to Watford, as players cannot play for three teams in the same season as per FA rules.
Sam Surridge is another that Forest could continue with as Cooper streamlines his first team squad
Meanwhile, Surridge has struggled for regular minutes and could be moved as part of a squad streamlining in January, as Blackpool attempt to re-sign Josh Bowler on loan from Forest.
The winger is with Forest’s sister club Olympiacos.
Cooper said last week that Forest, who spent £150m in the summer, would sign more players in January in a bid to beat the drop, but was well aware he needed a consistent group of players.
‘For sure, we have to get to a point where we have got a settled group. That doesn’t mean we’re not settled,’ Cooper said.
‘Unity, spirit and culture come with time. There is no doubt about that.
That’s the intention and these are games where you learn a lot about the players’ personalities and characters and they learn a lot about themselves. That’s how they build relationships.
Forest are in a relegation fight and Cooper knows he needs signings to add more quality
‘So, yes, we’re going to need an organized group. But if you look at the number of games coming up, we will need more than one team.
‘Injuries can happen. And you can make five changes to a team.
‘You have to prepare for more than just the starting XI because there have been so many occasions when players have come off the bench and had a positive impact for us – sometimes negative as well – it’s a good reminder at all times of preparation that we Possible.
‘But we have to have consistency and that’s what we’re trying to do.’
