The New Orleans Pelicans announced that superstar forward Zion Williamson has been diagnosed with a right hamstring injury following an MRI and will be re-evaluated in three weeks.
Williamson was injured late in the third quarter of Monday night’s loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.
After getting a rebound off a miss from Joel Embiid, Williamson pushed the ball up the court. As soon as he crossed the half-court line, he seemed to feel something in his right hamstring, before dribbling to the corner and handing the ball to teammate Dyson Daniels.
