Floyd Mayweather has revealed he plans to fight in the UK next month and says he is excited to stage an exhibition in the country having never fought in Britain during his professional career.
‘Pera’ has been fighting lucrative exhibition battles since his official retirement in 2017 – handily defeating YouTuber Deji, KSI’s brother, at an event in Dubai.
He has also fought Don Moore in Abu Dhabi, Mikuru Asakura in Japan and faced Logan Paul last summer. But the 45-year-old has no plans to stop his activity after the race and is now targeting a money-spinning event in the UK to start his fight plans for 2023.

Mayweather has never fought outside America as a professional but said he was ‘looking forward’ to the prospect of having a show in England.
‘A battle is planned in the UK for 2023,’ he told the Telegraph.
‘In February, we’re looking forward to coming here and putting on an exhibition for the fans in the UK, because I’ve never had the chance to come here and fight when I was actively boxing as a professional.
‘So hopefully in February I will go and do an exhibition if possible.’

Sportsmail spoke exclusively to Mayweather in September when he first said he was open to fighting in the UK, but warned it would cost ‘millions a minute’.
‘We do not know [where the rest of my bouts will take place] but of course, if the price is right then I am on my way [to the UK].
‘It’s always a few million a minute. From this exhibition [against Asakura] alone I will make somewhere upwards of $15-20million. That’s just from the exhibit. So, it’s cool. Nine minutes, 20million, not bad.’
Mayweather finished his career with a perfect 50-0 record – beating the likes of Ricky Hatton, Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor to become a household name in boxing.
