Ronaldo officially joined Al-Nassr on an impressive £175m-a-year deal on Friday and will be unveiled on Tuesday, after completing his medical in Riyadh.

Al-Nassr now have 7.8 million followers on Instagram – a sensational jump from what they had before Ronaldo’s arrival
The Saudi club had 860,000 followers before Ronaldo joined the club, showing the signing’s impact.
Fast-forward to today, and the same account has exploded more than nine times and now boasts an incredible 7.8million followers…and counting.
It’s clear that the CR7 brand has already done wonders for the Saudi club – who have gained a whole new fan base since the striker’s arrival.
The Cristiano Ronaldo effect is well and truly done, but is it surprising? The same thing happened when the striker joined Juventus from Real Madrid in 2018.
Juventus gained six million followers on social media after the mega-move across all social media platforms.
It’s probably more, considering Al-Nassr’s Instagram page has gotten more followers than that.
Their Twitter account has also seen a sensational increase in following, and is around the 3.7m mark currently.
On Tuesday, Ronaldo posted a photo on his Instagram story to announce that he had passed the necessary tests ahead of his transfer with the caption: ‘Medical done!’
The 37-year-old stopped by on Monday night and Al-Nassr has now posted footage of his arrival with his family.
The video, which has more than 1.5m likes and 27,500 comments, shows Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez being greeted by two young fans, who hand the couple a bunch of flowers each.
Meanwhile, the iconic photo of Ronaldo holding his No 7 shirt with Al-Nassr president Musli Al-Muammar has garnered a whopping 32.6m likes and 1.2m comments.
The Portugal star will be unveiled in front of thousands of fans at Al Nassr’s 25,000-capacity Mrsool Park stadium in Riyadh at around 4pm on Tuesday.
