ENG Vs IND: David Malan was included as cover for Tom Karen for the first T20 against India

The England team suffered a major setback before the 3-match T20 series against India starting July 3. Fast bowler Tom Kane has been out of the match due to injury, in his place, the great form of David Malan has been included in the team. The first T20 match between England and India will be played on July 3 at Old Trafford.

However, it is expected that Karan will be completely fit before the second and third T20 matches against India. Due to injury before Karan, Ben Stokes and Chris Woakes will not be able to take part in the T20 series against India. Although Ben Stokes has been included in the squad for the three-match ODI series against India and it is being speculated that he can also be a part of the team in the third T20 against India.

The England team is defeating Australia in the T20 series 5-0 in the ODI series and the only T20 match. The England team has to play 3 T20, 3 ODIs and 5 Test series against India.
