BERLIN: Germany coach Oliver Bierhoff said he expected the final decision on Joachim Loew’s future to be made at the end of next week.
The German team left the World Cup on Wednesday after finishing last in Group F.
By the end of next week we will meet and discuss other things, “Bierhoff told reporters after the team arrived at Frankfurt airport.
Loew, who has a contract until 2022, said his future decision with the team would come after a deep analysis of the mistakes that had occurred and how to push the team forward.
“We need to take detailed measures, they need clear changes, and we have to discuss this now and how we will do that,” he said.
The German team, nicknamed “Machinery”, lost 1-0 to Mexico in the opening phase of the tournament, defeating Sweden 2-1 and losing to South Korea 2-0 to finish last in Group F.
