Surrender of Bangladeshi batsmen ahead of Rashid, Afghanistan win in the second T-20 match

Dehradun: Due to the sparkling spinner Rashid Khan‘s superb bowling, Afghanistan defeated Bangladesh by six wickets in the second Twenty20 International cricket match, making an unbeaten 2-0 in the three-match series. Rashid took four wickets in his quota of just 12 runs in four overs. With the help of Rashid’s spectacular display, Afghanistan stalled Bangladesh by 134 runs on eight wickets. In reply, Samiullah Shenwari (49 off 40 balls) and Mohammed Nabi (unbeaten 31 off 15 balls) gave Afghanistan the chance to reach the target in 18.5 overs. Nabi gave chaos and then hit six to win the team.

Before this, apart from Rashid, Mohammed Nabi also had two successes. Opener Tamim Iqbal, who had scored 43 runs in 48 balls with the help of five boundaries, could only fight against Bangladesh. In the last over, Abu Haider quickly scored 21 runs (not out) and brought the team to a respectable score.

Bangladesh decided to bat by winning the toss but left-arm fast bowler Shapoor Jadharan (one wicket in 42) got opener Lt. Das (01) caught by Rashid Khan in the second over of the match. Tamim Iqbal held one end but Shabbir Rahman (13) and wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahman (22) could not make much contribution from the other end. Both batsmen got wicket-taker (Two wickets on 19 runs).

After that Mahmudullah (14) hit the ball on his first ball and hit the score of 81 runs in 10 overs. He also got bowled on the ball of Karim Jannat (one wicket on 40) in an attempt to increase the speed of the run. On the third ball of the 15th over, Tamim took one run and took the score in three figures. In the next over, Rashid Khan got the first Shakib Al Hasan (03) and then bowled Tamim and Mosaddek Hussain (00) on two consecutive balls to push Bangladesh back on the backfoot. He missed the hat-trick.

Rashid also ran the benign government (03) in his next over. Hafeez and Nazmul Islam scored 26 runs in the last two overs. Haider hit two sixes and a four in 14 balls and Najmul scored unbeaten six runs in three balls.
