Seventh edition of the Women’s Asia Cup 2018 June 3 in Malaysia

The seventh edition of the Women’s Asia Cup will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital from June 3 to 11. In total, 6 teams are participating in this tournament, where teams from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Thailand are participating in the event, besides defending champions India and hosts Malaysia. In all the 6 Asia Cup played so far, the Indian team has won the title.

On the first day of the tournament, India will face hosts Malaysia on 3 June, Pakistan will face Thailand and Sri Lanka will face Bangladesh. India face Bangladesh from 4th June, Pakistan face Bangladesh and Sri Lanka from Malaysia On 6th June, Indian women will face Bangladesh from Bangladesh, Pakistan face Sri Lanka and Malaysia face Thailand. India will face Sri Lanka on June 7, Pakistan faces Malaysia, and Bangladesh will face Thailand. On 9th June, India will face Pakistan, Sri Lanka will face hosts from Thailand and Bangladesh will face hosts Malaysia.

The Asia Cup was first organized in 2004 and India won the title by defeating Sri Lanka. In 2005-06, India also won the title by defeating Sri Lanka.
