London: England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has included captain of the fingers, Ian Morgan has been included in the ODI squad for the tour of Scotland next month and the five-match home series against Australia. Wicketkeeper Jos Butler was rested from the only ODI match against Scotland on June 10 in Edinburgh. Butler, however, has been selected for the ODI series against Australia starting June 13. All-rounder Ben Stokes has also been included in the team.

Meanwhile, Plunkett, who is out of the ODI series on New Zealand tour due to a warm-up injury, has been included in the squad for the one-day series against Australia. England won the ODI series 3-2 on the New Zealand tour. Fast bowler Tom Curren has been dropped from the tour of Scotland while he has been retained in the squad for the series against Australia.

England has to play the only ODI match on a June 10 tour of Scotland. After that, he has to host Australia for the five-match ODI series from June 13 to June 24. The only T-20 match will be played on June 27 between the two teams.

It is notable that Morgan has already withdrawn before the T-20 charity match at Lord’s on 31 May due to injuries in fingers. He has withdrawn his name from the World XI team due to injury. The International Cricket Council (ICC) released a statement on Tuesday and informed about this.
