Kolkata: At the heart of Afghanistan’s ‘Wonder Boy’ Rashid Khan’s all-around performance, Hyderabad, in the second qualifier, defeated Kolkata by 13 runs on the same ground in the IPL final where they will face Chennai. Chasing the target of 175 runs for victory, two-time champion Kolkata made 161 for nine in 20 overs. Hyderabad, who first qualified in the qualifiers in Chennai, will play once again in the final in Mumbai on Sunday.

Afghanistan’s spinner Rashid, who proved to be a trump card for this win in his victory, who first scored 34 runs in 10 balls showing the jaw of the bat and later took three important wickets with 19 runs. Not only that, he scored a run and in the last over, he got two fantastic catches on deep midwicket.

The Hyderabad debut was very aggressive when Chris Lynn and Sunil Narine scored an average of more than ten runs per over. This partnership, which looks dangerous, was broken by Siddharth Kaul in the fourth over when Narayan caught by Carlos Braithwaite in a 13-ball 26.
